My favorite way to spend a weekend is traveling with my wife or attending a concert. I enjoy cooking and trying to expand my culinary ability to anyone who is willing! I have been in the insurance business since the early 1970’s. I grew up in Charlotte NC and have been licensed in NC property & casualty and life and health since the mid-1980’s I have previously been an NC notary. I like to solve problems that our insured’s may have concerning insurance, whether it be understanding premiums, billing, etc. I have owned and rode horses for over 30 years and have taken them on may camping trips with friends and family. I now have a 4-year-old grandson that I spend as much time as possible with. I have 7 acres of land, with one horse, 2 dogs, and 4 cats. That pretty much takes up my weekends, along with my grandson. I used to be a pretty good cowgirl. As you can imagine I have a love for animals, when I have free time I make it a point to volunteer at nearby animal shelters.
I have been in the insurance industry 25+ years. I started as an Adjuster in the 90’s and 6 years ago made the change to an agent. I grew up all over but born in New Hampshire. I moved south in grade school, spent time in Alabama at the gulf coast. I did finish school back in NC and have been here ever since. What most excites me about coming to work is I feel I can make a difference in people’s lives. I try to provide quality customer service to all who come to us seeking help in protecting themselves and their families. I really enjoy spending time with friends and family. I have a 17-year-old daughter that I adore, she gives me great joy. When I’m not in the office, you can find me on a soccer field more than likely. My daughter has played competitive club soccer since she was 8 years old. We travel all over the southeast for her games. When I’m not traveling for Soccer I’m usually with friends and family. I love to play games, card games, board games, corn hole, etc. I have a special place in my heart for Special Olympics and the homeless population. I volunteer as much as I can for both.

My guilty pleasures are traveling. I recently visited China and I have my sights on a trip to Thailand in about 2 years. I volunteer with the Greensboro Urban ministries along with youth Sundays at my church. We collect canned good to give to the shelter nearby. My Sunday school class also collects travel samples of toiletries and we make gift bags for the women at the shelter.

I have 51 years insurance experience selling and servicing all lines of insurance. I grew up in Charleston, WV and upon graduation from high school in 1967started working for an agent until October 1994 when I moved to NC. I do my best to inform our clients of their insurance coverages and needs and they trust my advice. I have had clients tell me they feel that I have serviced their policies for years and I appreciate this compliment. I love fishing and playing cards with our friends. I also enjoy yard work as I love it when my yard is the best looking one in our neighborhood, even though it is a lot of hard work If I could I would be spending my weekends fishing off a pontoon boat or going to classic country music festivals or venues. I love country music and listen to as much as I can. I would love to travel if I could to places like Hawaii where the sun is always shinning or to take a cruise. I donate to homeless shelters and to the local health center for the homeless. I also donate gifts every Christmas to our local TV stations for children in need.
